Her most important piece of advice for me: "take at least 3o minutes each day to take care of you." She thought that I could begin to leave Noah for very short periods of time (30 minutes say?) with a trusted caregiver with whom he is familiar so that he will begin to learn that Mommy leaves and returns. She said is not a good idea to leave him much longer than that at this point.
In the summer of 2008 we adopted into our family two year old Sheng Heng from South China. Several of you have asked, “Aren’t you going to create a blog so we can ‘travel’ with you?” Well, here it is! The Lord has blessed us as we begin this journey. We hope that you will find it a blessing too.
