Sick

I awakened Noah shortly before 11 am this morning to discover he was feverish. I did not take his temperature (didn't want to invoke a crying jag!) but his body was warm to the touch all over and his nose was runny. He just had that "sick look" about him.  He drank all his Kindersure but was not too interested in eating. 

The older kids have been at VBS this week. So Noah and I spent the rest of the morning playing quietly and reading books. It really was good bonding time despite him not feeling well. Mark called from work to check on us. When Noah heard the phone ring he perked up and said "heh-o!"

I took the big kids swimming this afternoon while my mom stayed with Noah during his nap.  He ate some apple slices and drank more Kindersure and juice. We just finished watching a baby sign language video. He snuggled up on one side of me with the big kids on the other. Hopefully, he will feel better tomorrow!
