It's hard to believe that after one year of paperwork and waiting we are going to meet the newest addition to our family. Mark and I are so blessed that God has led us on this journey. Thank you for joining us as we welcome little Noah into his forever family!
In the summer of 2008 we adopted into our family two year old Sheng Heng from South China. Several of you have asked, “Aren’t you going to create a blog so we can ‘travel’ with you?” Well, here it is! The Lord has blessed us as we begin this journey. We hope that you will find it a blessing too.

In the home stretch!
Our bags are packed (almost!) and we are ready to go! We leave this Wednesday for Beijing for a few days of touring. Then we are off to the province of Guangxi where we will meet our son in the provincial capital of Nanning. After staying a few days in Nanning we will fly to Guangzhou (in the province of Guangdong) to visit the U.S. Consulate. And, finally, we will return home!

We thought we would test out the blog!! We are excited to meet our newest family member. I have now lost count on how many nieces and nephews we have overall!! :-) We will pray for a safe journey. Enjoy it all and take lots of pictures. The kids will be fine here in the states.
Lots of love to you all.
Diana, Chris, Austin, Danielle and Gianna
So many unanswered questions, but your trust in God in this adventure is evident! Would love to "see" your first meeting with Sheng Heng...praying that you bond immediately. May God give you protection and good health as you all travel.
With love,
Mom (Carole)
