Noah with his first foster family
I just received an exciting e-mail from someone on my
Desheng orphanage chat group (a group of adoptive parents from Noah's orphanage.) We found Noah's foster sister! Noah was in his first foster family from the time he was two months until he was eighteen months. During this time there was another little girl with the same foster family. (Noah is on the bottom of the picture.) This little girl was adopted before Noah and has been home with her forever family for one year. Reportedly, when Noah went for his heart surgery at thirteen months, she was quite distraught over him being gone. They must have been very close. We are hoping to get better
acquainted with this special family!
From what we can piece together, Noah's first foster family was very loving. (Noah is the baby on the right.) They were an older couple with one adult son. Noah looks happy in the pictures we have of him with this family. It seems that he started to go downhill when he was placed with the second foster family. We have no basis for this other than the way he looks in his pictures with the second family and the fact that he did not gain weight while he was with them.
Anyway, I will keep you posted and this new, exciting development!

We are so excited you found Noah's foster sister! I know this is so encouraging.
