Mark and I were able to get away for an overnight trip. It was a much needed time for us to focus on each other and relax a bit.
A gracious gift from caring friends
We were truly surprised when we returned to our hotel room after dinner to find this beautiful display of fruit. We were very touched that God would use these friends to care for us.
Sunset over the lake
Mark and I sat by the pool as we watched the sunset. Twilight has always been my favorite time of day. I love to feel the quiet of God's creation coming to rest.
A true sign of getting away from it all: Bare feet by the pool!
