This Child
trembling and afraid?
Who will hold him in her arms,
kiss his tears away?
Who will bind his fragile heart,
longing to be loved?
Who will keep him safe and sound,
protecting him from harm?
He is not the only one
needing love and care.
There are so many little ones
living in despair.
Take a look around you;
open up your heart.
Choose to be the arms of God
and embrace ... this child.
