Claire is nearing the end of her second soccer season. She is developing into a terrific mid-fielder and has had tons of goal assists. She is almost always the one who sets-up the goal. She has such a great attitude and is a true team player!
In the summer of 2008 we adopted into our family two year old Sheng Heng from South China. Several of you have asked, “Aren’t you going to create a blog so we can ‘travel’ with you?” Well, here it is! The Lord has blessed us as we begin this journey. We hope that you will find it a blessing too.

Growth Update
Noah is continuing to grow physically. Here is a quick update on his measurements: 35 inches, 23.5 pounds.
He is still not on the U.S charts but on the Chinese charts he is almost to the tenth percentile for height and is almost on the charts for weight. On the U.S. charts his height is in the third percentile for a 33 month old and his weight is in the third percentile for a 24 month old.
Keep growin' Noah!

Dichotomy
Pull me toward you, push me away
Pat me, slap me
Kiss me, pinch me
Back and forth
Hot and cold
Who will I get?
I never know
Dichotomy

Re-Adoption Day
Waiting outside the courtroom.
Although the children look docile don't be fooled! They kept everyone in the hallway entertained.
Noah wanted to be in on the action while I was being questioned.
The re-adoption is final!
The last question our wonderful lawyer asked me was "Is he always this squirmy?" "Yes!" was my emphatic reply. He chewed on my pearls, played with my hair, and did everything he could to get down.
Celebrating at Krispy Kreme!
